This Privacy Policy explains how Fikradex LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and deletes information when you use the Hold the Gap mobile game (the “App”).
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
The App creates and uses an anonymous user ID issued by Firebase Authentication (Anonymous). This ID is used to associate your leaderboard profile and (if applicable) flagged submissions with your account, and (if you enable analytics/crash reporting) it is also used as the user identifier we set for Google Analytics and Crashlytics.
When you submit a score to the leaderboard, we store:
Tip: Please do not use a real name, email address, phone number, or other personal information as your display name.
To protect leaderboard integrity, some submissions may be flagged (for example, replay validation fails, App Check fails, or a score exceeds a review threshold). For flagged submissions, we may store:
For flagged submissions, we may store a compressed validation “bundle” in Google Cloud Storage. This bundle may include:
These files are stored in a per-account folder in Cloud Storage.
Our backend runs on Cloud Functions for Firebase and Google Cloud. These services may generate operational logs (for example, request metadata, IP address, user agent, and error traces) for reliability and security.
The App may store limited information locally on your device to remember settings and features (for example, purchase status and privacy preferences).
Additional information: If you contact us for support, we will receive the information you choose to provide (for example, your email address and message content). We may also process limited technical/security information (for example, request metadata and abuse-prevention signals) as needed to operate and protect the App. If we introduce new categories of data collection, we will update this Privacy Policy.
Controls: Analytics and crash reporting are disabled by default and are only enabled after you opt in. You can enable/disable analytics and crash reporting at any time in Settings → Privacy → Analytics & Crash. If you disable a setting, the App stops collecting future data for that service.
If you consent to analytics, we may collect app usage events (for example, screen navigation and gameplay events) to help us understand how the App is used and improve it.
If you consent to crash reporting, Crashlytics may collect crash reports and diagnostics (for example, stack traces and device/OS information) to help us fix stability issues.
If enabled, these services may use identifiers to associate events/crashes with an app installation or device. For example:
We do not collect your real-world identity (like your name, email address, or phone number) in order to provide the App.
If you have not purchased “Remove Ads”, the App may show banner ads using Google AdMob.
Our ads posture: we request family-appropriate, non-personalized (contextual) ads for all users. We do not request interest-based (personalized) ads or remarketing.
We configure ad requests to limit ad personalization for all users (for example, by requesting child-directed treatment where applicable).
Even when ads are non-personalized, ad providers may process limited information for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement in accordance with their policies.
If you purchase “Remove Ads” through Google Play Billing on Android or through Apple In-App Purchase on iOS where such purchases are available.:
If you are located in the EEA or UK, legal bases may include:
We do not sell your personal information.
We use service providers necessary to run the App, including: Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, App Check), Google Cloud Storage (flagged bundles), Google Analytics 4 for Firebase (if enabled), Firebase Crashlytics (if enabled), Google AdMob, Google Play Billing on Android, and Apple In-App Purchase on iOS.
These providers process data to deliver their services and are subject to their own terms and policies. For more information, review the Google Privacy Policy, Firebase Data Privacy Information, Apple Privacy Policy, and App Store & Privacy.
You can export a structured JSON copy of your in-app data directly from: Settings → Privacy → Export Data.
The export is designed to include:
Exclusion: Internal server verification/debug logs are excluded because they are internal integrity/debug records generated by our servers and are not part of your in-game profile or gameplay data.
Note: The Export Data feature provides a copy of the in-app data we store for your anonymous account. Analytics and crash data (if enabled) are processed by Google’s services and are not included in the in-app export.
You can delete your account and associated in-app data at any time from: Settings → Profile → Delete Account.
When you request deletion, we delete:
Third-party deletion requests (if enabled): if you had analytics and/or crash reporting enabled, we also submit administrative deletion requests to delete data associated with your identifiers in those services. Processing times can vary by provider.
The App does not ask for direct identifiers (such as a real name, email address, or phone number) to use the App. We serve family-appropriate, non-personalized ads where ads are shown. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided information to us (for example, by entering a display name), please contact us and we will help you delete the associated account data.
Fikradex LLC is based in the United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
Depending on where you live (for example, California, the EEA, or the UK), privacy laws may treat anonymous identifiers and certain device identifiers as personal data. You may have rights to:
Because the account is anonymous and not tied to email/phone, the safest supported way to exercise these rights is directly through the App on your authenticated device.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the App.
